About this Mangave
Mangave is a fascinating intergeneric hybrid between Manfreda and Agave, combining the best traits of both genera. These plants typically feature softer, more pliable leaves than pure agaves, often with unique patterns, spots, or colors. They inherit the faster growth rate of Manfreda while maintaining the architectural form of Agave, making them increasingly popular in modern gardens.
This plant loves to grow! I keep planting it in a planter twice its size and it just keeps filling it up. It has also produced many pups although we are only raising two. Have not let this one get exposed to frost and don't intend to.
